Basketball Africa League announce ticket sales for playoffs and finals in Kigali

The Basketball Africa League (BAL) on Friday announced ticket sales information for the league’s Playoffs and Finals, which will tip off on Friday, May 24 to Saturday, June 1, 2024, with the crowning of the fourth BAL champion at BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
The fourth consecutive BAL Playoffs and Finals will see the top two teams from each conference and the top two third-place teams from across the three conferences travel to Kigali for four seeding games followed by an eight-game, single-elimination Playoffs and Finals.
FUS Rabat Basketball (Morocco; 3-1) and Petro de Luanda (Angola; 2-2) finished as the top two teams at the inaugural Kalahari Conference group phase in Pretoria, South Africa last month.
Tickets for the games in Kigali are on sale now at BAL.NBA.com and Ticqet.rw.  Single tickets for the Playoffs and Finals start at 2500RWF for the four seeding games on May 24 and May 25 and will sell as low as 1600RWF for the Quarterfinal and Semifinal games on May 26, May 27, and May 29.
Fans can save up to 20% on single ticket prices by purchasing a tournament pass to watch all games during the Playoffs and Finals.  Fans who buy tickets will have free access to the BAL Fan Zone at BK Arena.  Fans can save up to 35% off single ticket prices for group packages by emailing BalTickets@thebal.com.
“We are thrilled to welcome our passionate fans and guests to Kigali, Rwanda for the fourth consecutive BAL Playoffs and Finals,” said BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall.
“We encourage our fans from across Africa and around the world, including from the African Diaspora, to purchase tickets to experience this world-class basketball and entertainment showcase.  The BAL Finals continues to be a rendezvous to inspire, empower, connect communities, and elevate Africa.” Fall added.
In conjunction with the 2024 BAL Playoffs and Finals, the league will host its flagship Innovation Summit at the Kigali Marriott Hotel on May 30.
The theme of this year’s Innovation Summit is “Inspiring, Empowering, and Elevating Africa Through Basketball and Sports Innovation”.  The summit will convene leaders from both the private and public sectors to shape the implementation of frameworks, programs and partnerships to drive innovation, inspire, empower and elevate Africa using the transformative power of sports.
