Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster is on the verge of completing a permanent move to Sheffield United in a deal worth up to £23.5m.
The package for the England Under-21 international includes a buy-back option for three years and the Reds will get 15% of any sell-on fee.
Brewster’s stock rose last season as he played a key part in Swansea City’s run to the Championship play-offs.
Beaten in the semi-finals by Brentford, Brewster departed Steve Cooper’s side and returned to Anfield hopeful of forcing his way into Klopp’s plans.
He departed the Championship side having scored 11 goals in 22 games, and Brewster acknowledged he needed regular football to continue his development.
The forward has made four Liverpool appearances, three in 2019-20 cup competitions and once as a substitute in the penalty-shootout defeat by Arsenal in this season’s Community Shield.
