Ghana legend Abedi Ayew Pele has disclosed that he was a better player during his playing days than former Dutch players Ruud Guilt and Marco Van Basten.
The Dutch Legends was part of the AC Milan team that was beaten by the Olympic Marseille in Munich during Champions League in Munich which Abedi was instrumental.

The former Olympics Marseille legend was speaking on GTVSports Plus show reveals that, during his playing days, he was a better player than both Dutch former players. According to former Ghana star, his mental toughness on the pitch always ahead of Guilt and Van Basten.
“Well I don’t know but I had it in mind that I’m better than Guilt and I am also better than Van Basten and others. So coming onto the pitch, it is in my mind that the must be a challenge between Guilt and Abedi Pele and who is going to win?,” he said.

In 1993 Olympic Marseille played AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League final which these great players were all part of the game.
The former black star captain was part of the French team that lifted the Champions league after beating the Italian side AC Milan by a goal to nil in Olympiastadion in Munich.
Abedi, who is regarded by many as one of the greatest African footballers of all time , has three of his sons, Ibrahim Ayew, Andre Ayew and Jordan have also become football players.
