Morocco international Achraf Hakimi is all but set to complete a sensational €45 million move to Inter Milan.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund from parent club Real Madrid and has enjoyed an impressive campaign.
The full-back will join the Antonio Conte’s Inter for a fee of €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons.
Hakimi is said to have agreed a five-year contract with the Italian giants, with the deal set to be made official in the coming weeks.
The young defender was born in Madrid and has been on the books of the Spanish giants since 2006.
The Morocco international made his La liga debut in October 2017, before joining Dortmund on loan in the summer of 2018.
He has spent the last two seasons on loan at the Bundesliga side, scoring seven goals in 53 league appearances.
Hakimi’s successful loan spell in the Bundesliga initially sparked rumours that Real Madrid would want him back next season.
However, Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is said to have made it clear to the full-back that he will be behind Dani Carvajal in the pecking order.
This prompted the 21-year-old to look at other options, with Inter’s offer proving enticing enough.
