Former Arsenal and Nigeria International, Alex Iwobi has been lauded by his Everton teammate Theophilos Walcott.
Both players joined Everton from Arsenal, but the England international prised the impressive versatility role of Iwobi.
” He’s the sort of kid that would settle in anywhere. He’s taken to it really well, and what he is doing on the training filed is really impressive” said Walcott.
“He’s just a hard worker, through and through. At times at Arsenal, he was in and out, and he was tired in different positions,” he continued.
“Here, I feel he can express himself a lot more and use his attribution, his skills, and his energy. I, am not the manager, but I feel like he likes to be on the ball, be in the middle of the game and express himself.
“He,s a great athlete, he looks after himself. He doesn’t come to the gym with me and Mason yet, but I’ll try my best. He’s a great kid and he’s really settled well” he adds.
” I was really excited when he came having worked with him before. I knew he was always going to fit right in”.
The 23-years- old Nigeria international was Arsenal academy player before joined the senior team. Everton has signed Iwobi from Arsenal for a fee worth £35.
He played 70 games for Arsenal and scored 26 goals and has featured in 21 games in all competition this season and scored two goals.
