Anderlecht defender Derrick Luckassen has written to Ghana Football Association about his interest to play for Ghana.
The 25year old is finally ready to switch nationality and represent Ghana in the international stage. Born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parent, he has represented the Netherlands at various youth national team levels but has now chosen to wear the colures of his motherland at the Senior national level.
According to reports, the defender has put pen on paper and calling on the governing body of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to start every necessary documentation that can make him eligible to play for Ghana.
Anderlecht defender was monitored by the coach of the black star, C K Akunor when he visited Europ to monitor Ghanaian players. Derrick lone to Anderlecht from PSV Eindhoven in 2019.
