Forty-six Division One and Two sides have punched their tickets to meet Ghana's Premier League giants in the 2026/27 MTN FA Cup.
Ghana's biggest domestic cup is getting bigger, and the lower leagues are coming for the top flight. After a preliminary round played from Friday, October 23 to Monday, October 26, 2026, 46 clubs have booked places in the Round of 64 of the 2026/27 MTN FA Cup.
The survivors include 32 sides from the UMB Division One League and 14 from Division Two. They now wait for the 18 Ghana Premier League clubs, who enter at this stage and complete the 64-team field. For the smaller sides, that means a real shot at a giant-killing.
The Round of 64 draw is set for Tuesday, November 17, 2026, and will be done in zonal groupings. It forms part of the #MyClubMyCommunityMyMTNFACup activation campaign. The aim is to create local derbies and take elite football into neighbourhoods, with matches staged at community parks.
All 32 fixtures are scheduled for Friday, November 27 to Monday, November 30, 2026. Expect packed touchlines, fierce local pride and plenty of upset potential as the road to the 2026/27 MTN FA Cup Final begins in earnest.
