A referee sent off a player for showing inscriptions on his shirt: Jesus loves you

Ghanaian footballer, Samuel Asamoah received a red card after scoring a goal and pull his shirt with inscriptions written in his shirt 'Jesus loves you'.

Samuel Asamoah was sent off in a game between his team Sint Truiden, and KAS Eurpen. The midfield scored a hattrick and in the jubilant mood he revealed his undershirt which had the inscription 'Jesus loves u'.

FIFA rules does not allow players to display anything political, religious slogans on the field.

The Sint Truiden midfield speaking to media said his action he thought initally was not offensive but latter on realized that it went against the Belgian Football regulation.

Asamoah promised to bounce back to score more goals to help his team.
