Nurudeen Amadu insists Karela United have plenty of time to fix their Ghana Premier League campaign, despite sitting 13th after eight games.
Nurudeen Amadu is refusing to hit the panic button at Karela United. The Passioners boss believes his side can still turn their Ghana Premier League season around, even after a sluggish opening stretch that has left them stuck in the lower half of the table.
Karela have collected just nine points from their first eight matches and sit 13th following a 2-1 loss to Port City FC last weekend. It is not the start anyone at the club wanted, but Amadu insists the season is far from lost.
The coach pointed out that the campaign is only in its first round and that the team's troubles began before a ball was kicked, with difficulties during pre-season and the early league fixtures disrupting preparations. Setbacks like that, he explained, are part of football. The answer is to keep working, keep training hard and trust that things will improve because, in his words, nothing has been decided yet.
For Amadu, the immediate mission is simple: rebuild the team's winning rhythm. With plenty of matches still to play, he wants his players focused on sharpening their performances rather than dwelling on the standings. If Karela can turn that message into results, the Passioners could yet climb away from the danger zone.
