Ghana's champions top Group B after a 5-1 opener, and their coach is now mining video analysis to plot Kawempe Muslim's downfall.
Ghana's Ampem Darkoa Ladies are wasting no time chasing more at the CAF Women's Champions League. Coach Charles Anokye Frimpong is already deep in preparation for their next test against Uganda's Kawempe Muslim Girls.
The Ghanaian champions opened their 2026 campaign in Egypt in style, hammering Mali's USFAS Bamako 5-1 to climb to the top of Group B. It was a statement start, but Frimpong is not dwelling on it. His focus has shifted to the next opponent.
The tactician says the plan will be built on information from his technical team. His video analyst has handed him a data package on Kawempe Muslim, which will be used to study the Ugandan side's strengths and weaknesses. It will also help him decide which players are best suited for the match.
Frimpong made it clear he won't rush the process. He says he can only set up his team properly once he has gone through the data, analysed it carefully and settled on a strategy.
With a big win in the bag and the Group B summit in their hands, Ampem Darkoa now have the chance to build real momentum. A smart, well-prepared performance against Kawempe Muslim could put Ghana's champions firmly in control of the group.
