Unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has courted controversy after sticking it in with some Tyson Fury fans.

The WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion was on holiday in Marbella, but was subjected to chants from fans of his rival.

While posing to take pictures with some fans, others could be hard chanting "There's only one Tyson Fury!"

Although the boxer was all smiles and did not look bothered, he stuck his middle finger at those chanting.

Joshua and Fury are set to face off in the near future after the latter’s upcoming bout against Deontay Wilder.

Meanwhile, both fighters have been featured in the upcoming UFC4, a game designed by EA Sports.

Reflecting on his appearance in the game, Joshua said he looking forward to picking his character in the game and doing battle with an opponent.

"Fighting is what I have dedicated myself to. No matter the stage or opponent, I'll always back myself," he said.

"My character in UFC 4 will be no different. I'm looking forward to picking up the controller and dominating UFC 4."

"I have a lot of respect for the UFC fighters but I'm the greatest fighter in the world," Fury added.

"It's going to be exciting to watch players use my boxing skills to outshine the most talented MMA fighters in UFC 4,” he added
