Antonio Brown announces retirement from NFL

Seven-time Pro Bowler Antonio Brown has once again announced that he is quitting the National Football League (NFL).

The 32-year-old has been flirting with retirement in recent months, but says he is now done with the sport for good.

Last September, Brown revealed his plans to retire after he was released by the New England Patriots.

AB also came under the spotlight following a series of off-field incidents, including a sexual assault investigation.

In a Twitter post of Monday, he said he has done everything in the game and it was, therefore, time to finally walk away.

"Is it time to walk away I done everything in the game ?!!" the wide receiver wrote on Twitter.

"Thank you everyone who been part of this journey I sincerely thank you for everything! life goes on 84!"

"I came I saw I conquered mission complete Call God (sic).”

AB played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for nine years, before swapping them for the Oakland Traders.

He was, however, released before the start of the 2019 season, subsequently joining the New England Patriots.
