Burkina Faso striker Aristide Bance has called on the clubs officials in Ivory Coast to consider former Chelsea legend Didier Drogba bid to become the football federation president.

The 35- year- old Bance believed that Drobga's knowledge could help transformed football in Ivory Coast if they give him the chance to be their leader.

The club officials are set to vote in August to elect a new head of football in the country, with Drogba facing stiff completion from the Sory Diabate.

However, Bance who plays his football for Guinean club Horoya AC has pleaded for the decision-makers to consider those who are suffering from the inept system in place.

"The players of the Ivorian championship are not considered at all. There are players who do not receive their wages for three to four months," Bance said on Facebook Live.

"There are players in the Ivorian championship who receive 50 thousand FCFA (R1500) in the month … For a championship like that of the Ivory Coast, I think it is unacceptable.

"There are club presidents who are bad. They only come to get rich. Despite the millions they have, apart from ASEC Mimosas, there is no club that has its own training ground."

The striker compels Ivory Coast football to that of the other Africa nation that is financially sound and advice footballer leaders who are corrupt to step down for others to come and develop the game.

"Look in Zambi., there are clubs that pay better than in Ivory Coast.
Even in Guinea, there are players playing in the first division who
have cars, but in Côte d'Ivoire, how many players have a car," Bance explained.

"You leaders don't just think of your pocket. Think about the future of these kids who play for you and who can make your clubs great. There are presidents who don't give a damn and who only think of eating.

''Today, I am happy that Didier Drogba is a candidate because he is someone who has a fairly full address book of contacts.

Bancé was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast to Burkinabe parents, but moved to Burkina Faso as a child and a play his professional football for Burkina Faso national team said, the club should consult their football players before they cast their vote.

"We can't even argue that and there are a lot of young players who want Drogba to win. So, I ask club presidents to talk to their players before the vote. Don't just think about your belly."

Drogba had been rejected by the former Footballers Association in the Ivory Coast the last time they voted via video conferencing but had been the massive favorite going into the poll.

According to Afrik foot, Drobga had also been endorse by the professional clubs in the country and will hope to better luck when club Presidents cast their votes in August to elect new FA president.
