Arsenal’s new signing Partey has better defending stats than Harry Maguire on FIFA 21

Share

It has emerged that Ghanaian international and Arsenal’s latest signing Thomas Partey’s defensive rating or stats on FIFA 21 is better than English international and Manchester United’s defender Harry Maguire.

This was revealed on Twitter by  @ArsenalAtHeartt, who posted the comparison between the two players on social media.

Partey has an overall defending stat of 82 in FIFA 21, which is higher than some of his fellow teammates, including David Luiz, Hector Bellerin, and Kieran Tierney.

In fact, Partey's overall defending stat is higher than the world's most expensive defender, Harry Maguire, who only has 81 defending in the latest edition of the game.

Partey also has 84 interceptions compared to Maguire's 78, and he beats the England international when it comes to standing and sliding tackles too.

The 27-year-old completed a late move to the Emirates after the club activated his £45 million transfer release clause on Transfer Deadline Day, and is expected to make his debut against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

Partey, a dynamic midfielder known for his ability in defensive and attacking areas, will certainly bring a wealth of experience to what is already a promising Arsenal side under Mikel Arteta.
