Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi confirmed that Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman has expressed his desire to leave the club for some time amid rumours linking him with a move to Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri submitted a new bid of €45 million after Atalanta rejected a previous €40 million offer, with the hope of getting him integrated into Christian Chivu’s squad before the commencement of the 2025-26 Serie A season.
Speaking to the press at the presentation of new left-back Honest Ahanor, Percassi said he expected Lookman as to leave this summer, in line with the club’s philosophy of one key player sale per year.
