With the exit of Julio Jones to the Tennessee Titans, this was supposed to be the year that former first round pick Calvin Ridley took over at the #1 reciever for the Atlanta Falcons. The season started at it's own slow pace for Ridley but there were bright spots. News broke that Ridley would be a scratch for the Sunday game against division rival Carolina Panthers. It wasn't a physical scratch , but instead Ridley taking time off to work on his Mental health.
