Ghana's Christopher Baah supplied a pinpoint cross for Quiñones as Al-Qadsiah romped to a 5-0 away win in the AFC Champions League Elite.
Christopher Baah is making his mark on the Asian stage. The Ghanaian midfielder added another assist to his growing tally as Al-Qadsiah demolished Al-Gharafa 5-0 away from home in the AFC Champions League Elite.
Baah's moment came in the 26th minute, with the Saudi side already a goal to the good. He whipped an inviting cross into the box, and Julián Quiñones climbed above his marker to power a header home and make it 2-0. Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat had opened the scoring in the 17th minute, finishing a slick attacking move that also involved Quiñones.
The visitors then turned the screw before the break. Yasser Al-Shahrani made it 3-0 in the 43rd minute, and just two minutes later Quiñones grabbed his second of the night to send Al-Qadsiah in 4-0 up at half-time. Mohammed Al-Qahtani rounded off the rout with a fifth in the 81st minute.
Baah was taken off in the 73rd minute after another influential shift. The assist lifts his tally to four in four AFC Champions League Elite appearances this season, a strong sign of how important the Ghanaian has become to Al-Qadsiah's continental push.
