Ghana's Black Queens send out a strong lineup against Mauritius, aiming to finish the job and push closer to the LA 2028 Olympics.
Ghana's Black Queens are one step from the next round of LA 2028 Olympic qualifying, and head coach Kim Lars Björkegren has picked a strong XI to get it done this afternoon against Mauritius in the second leg at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi.
Cynthia Fiindib Konlan starts in goal, and captain Portia Boakye leads the side. Susan Ama Duah and Josephine Bonsu take the full-back roles, giving Ghana width on both flanks.
The midfield has plenty of options. Jennifer Cudjoe, Sharon Sampson, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Grace Asantewaa and Evelyn Badu are all in the XI, which points to a side that wants to control the tempo. Up front, Princella Adubea leads the line with Ajegipina Zakaria supporting her.
Ghana arrive with a commanding cushion after a 3-0 win in the first leg in Mauritius last Thursday. The task now is to protect that advantage, play with authority in front of home support and book a place in the next stage of the Olympic qualifiers.
Kick-off is at 15:00 GMT.
