Samuel Boadu says facing his old club is just another game, and Aduana FC are demanding all three points at home on Sunday.
Ghana Premier League drama is on the menu in Dormaa as Samuel Boadu prepares to take on his former club, Berekum Chelsea, with Aduana FC. The coach insists sentiment will be left at the gate and that the only thing on his mind is victory.
Boadu spent a couple of years working with Berekum Chelsea, but he is treating the week nine fixture as a normal outing. In his pre-match comments, he made it clear he does not expect the visitors to leave Dormaa with anything. Aduana's focus, he said, is on sharpening their training and turning home advantage into points.
The Aduana boss called it a must-win game, especially after the painful defeat to Medeama SC last time out. Even so, he says the mood in camp is calm and upbeat. Every player is motivated and ready to respond, and Boadu has promised the supporters a win.
The match is set for Sunday, November 1, with kickoff at 3 pm at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park. Boadu against his old club, with pride and points both on the line, should make for a tense afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.
