Bucks secure no.1 seed in Eastern Conference for second consecutive season

The Milwaukee Bucks have once against secured the No.1 seed in the Eastern Conference following victory over Miami Heat.

The Bucks on Thursday coasted to a 130-116 win over their opponents in a very thrilling encounter.

Their latest win means they are now five games ahead of the Toronto Raptors, who have just four games remaining.

Therefore, mathematically, the Bucks have clinched the no.1 seed in Eastern Conference, making it the second successive season they’ve done so.

Last season, the Bucks secured the no.1 seed after an impressive campaign which saw them win 60 games.

They will, however, not be able to achieve the same number of wins – they can only reach 59 victories if they win their remaining games.

This is, however, huge considering the fact that Milwaukee lost guard Malcolm Brogdon to the Indiana Pacers before the start of the season.

The last team to secure the no.1 seed in the Eastern Conference for consecutive seasons was the Chicago Bulls in 2011 and 2012.

STAY IN THE GAME
