A Central African Republic referee will lead a pan-African officiating crew when Ghana host Somalia in a 2027 AFCON qualifier at Essipong Stadium.
Central African Republic's Andre Onesime Kolissala-Mbangui has been handed the whistle for the TotalEnergies AFCON 2027 qualifier between Ghana and Somalia, with a crew drawn from across the continent behind him.
Kolissala-Mbangui will be assisted on the touchlines by compatriot Bozoy Oriya Zaoubaye Wilfried De as Assistant Referee I, while Equatorial Guinea's Juan Ngua Nguema Eleng takes the flag as Assistant Referee II. Another Equatorial Guinean, Gerson Adolfo Mico Esono Angono, will serve as Fourth Official.
The off-field team is just as multinational. Nigeria's Mohammed Sanusi is the Match Commissioner, Mali's Dramane Dante has been named Referee Assessor, and Ghana's own Danny Adotey will act as Broadcast Venue Manager for the fixture.
The game is set for Essipong Sports Stadium, with kick-off at 3pm on Thursday, November 12, 2026. For both sides, the qualifier is another step on the road to AFCON 2027, and with a neutral, experienced crew appointed, all eyes can stay on the action on the pitch.
