Ghana's newest mobile raffle, Chop Money, puts phones, electronics and vouchers within reach of anyone with a handset and GHS5.
Ghana has a new way to chase a big win, and it works on any phone in your pocket. Nsaa Play Limited has launched Chop Money, a mobile raffle platform built to make prize draws easier and more affordable for everyday Ghanaians, with tickets costing just GHS5.
The platform was unveiled at Accra City Hotel and offers two ways to play. Dial *2727# on any mobile phone, basic handsets included, or head to www.chopmoneygh.com. There is no app to download, and the USSD route works without an internet connection, which opens the door for people far beyond the big-city smartphone crowd.
Prizes on offer include smartphones, electronics, shopping vouchers and everyday essentials. The first raffle opens in November 2026, and five winners will be drawn on 4 December 2026. Albert Aryee, General Manager of Nsaa Play Limited, said the goal is to keep participation straightforward and accessible while offering prizes that matter in people's daily lives.
Regulatory backing was also front and center at the launch. Akua Serwaa Adu Darko, representing the National Lottery Authority's Caritas Team, confirmed that Chop Money met the required standards and has the Authority's official approval to run its raffle draws.
