Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb connect twice as Dallas keeps its NFC East hopes alive and Philadelphia sinks to 2-5.
The Eagles' season keeps spiralling. On Monday night the Dallas Cowboys beat Philadelphia 38-21 and sent the Eagles to a fifth straight defeat. Philadelphia now sits at 2-5.
Dak Prescott ran the show for Dallas. He threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to CeeDee Lamb. It was not a huge yardage night, but Prescott was efficient where it counted and the Cowboys scored whenever they needed to.
Javonte Williams gave the offense a heavy ground presence. He rushed for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown, wearing down the Eagles' defense and taking pressure off Prescott in the passing game.
The win moves Dallas to 3-4 and keeps the Cowboys in the NFC East title race. The New York Giants lead the division at 4-2-1, so there is plenty of football left to play. For Philadelphia, which was without the injured Jalen Hurts, the picture is much bleaker. The Eagles are looking for answers and a way to stop the slide.
