Deandre baker turns himself to the police.

According to reports, Baker and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar were wanted for armed robbery and aggravated assault. However, Baker’s lawyer seems to believe that his client is innocent of any wrongdoing.

Nevertheless, the Giants’ second-year cornerback turned himself in to the authorities in hopes to clear his name. Within the alleged details, given by Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, it stated that Baker and Dunbar were present at a party in Florida.

Then, after an argument broke out at the party, Baker, Dunbar, and another affiliate allegedly proceeded to steal watches and money from the attendees. Altogether, the two NFL cornerbacks allegedly stole over $60,000 in watches. In addition, the victims claimed that they were missing over $12,000 in cash.

For Baker, he’s entering his second season with the Giants. As the team’s first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, he figures to have a prominent role in 2020. Of course, that would be subject to change if Baker is found guilty of the charges.

Seeing that he turned himself in, it’s evident that Baker is willing to cooperate with the police. Similar to most lawyers, Baker’s lawyer doesn’t want fans to make a quick judgment on his client. With the Giants cornerback in custody, we should receive more details on the situation in the near future.
