Deontay Wilder to face Tyson Fury in trilogy fight on July 24

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will square off for the third time on July 24 in Las Vegas, according to promoter Bob Arum.

Arum, who promotes Fury in the US, says a rematch between the Briton and Wilder is now set to take place in Las Vegas on July 24. Arum told the Boxing Social: "No, there's no chance that he [Wilder] will step aside. He doesn't want to step aside, except for a totally preposterous number.
"I believe that the law and the facts were on our side and that Fury could go ahead and fight Joshua. The arbitrator saw it differently. "When you get knocked down like we did, pick yourself up, and Tyson will do that. We'll fight Wilder on July 24 in Las Vegas."
After an unsatisfactory draw in their first matchup back in 2018 at Staples Center, Fury easily captured the rematch with officials stopping the bout in the seventh round. Wilder claimed the costume he wore during his walk to ring was to blame for his performance, noting the nearly 40-pound outfit wore down his legs before the fight even began. Fury announced Sunday he and Anthony Joshua would meet in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on August 14 before the arbiter's decision blew apart that plan. As Fury gets ready for his trilogy fight, he'll have to deal with the fallout and angst over the inability to complete a deal with Anthony Joshua. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzvmY_O2hWw
