Derozan shatters MJ's record

DeMar DeRozan is making waves as he tries to revive the franchise and bring it to new heights this season. The 32-year old’s arrival in the Windy City has brought nothing but great energy, helping the Bulls get to the upper half of the Eastern Conference. And now, he just broke a record that was held by none other than Michael Jordan for the past three decades.

The four-time All-Star is now at the top of the franchise record books as the player with most points in his first 16 games in Chicago with 425, to surpass MJ’s 424 which he did back in his rookie season in ’84-85 (via NBA Central).
