Dillian Whyte to face Alexander Povetkin in blockbuster rematch in November

Dillian Whyte has announced that his blockbuster rematch against Alexander Povetkin will be officially confirmed this week. Whyte was knocked out by Povetkin during their first fight last month after he was dropped in the fifth round. The defeat saw Whyte relinquish his No 1 challenger spot with the WBC and put any of his world title ambitions on the backburner. There was doubt the rematch would go ahead after the British heavyweight was handed a 28-day medical suspension.
