Sankara Nationals, Victory Club Warriors and Ebusua Dwarfs all go on the road as Ghana's Division One League names its Matchday 5 officials.
Ghana's Division One League is heating up, and the men in charge for Matchday 5 are now confirmed. Several zone leaders face awkward trips, so the officials will be under as much pressure as the players.
In Zone One A, leaders Sankara Nationals travel to Northern City FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, with Talhat Abdul Karim taking the whistle. Elsewhere in the zone, Sabastien Fofie handles Kalibi SC against Steadfast FC at the Makil Jabir Stadium. Albert Nsor Adoor is in charge of the Tamale derby between Tamale City and Real Tamale United.
Zone One B table-toppers Victory Club Warriors head to Sunyani to face KAC Soccer Academy at Sunyani Coronation Park. In Zone Two, Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs meet newly promoted Ebiemo Nzema FC. The debutants will fancy their chances of testing the league leaders.
In Zone Three, Semper Fi host WAFA SC on Sunday at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town. Each match gets a full team of assistants, a fourth official, a match commissioner and a venue media officer, so the officiating setup is the same across all three zones.
With the leaders tested on the road, Matchday 5 could shake up the early title and promotion picture. Stay with Afroballers for results and reaction.
