Swedru All Blacks winger Eric Wiafe Darkwah credits hard work, discipline and confidence for his red-hot start to the Ghana Premier League season.
Swedru All Blacks have found a rising star in Eric Wiafe Darkwah, and the young winger has now explained what is driving his big start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Darkwah has been central to the Swedru-based club's early momentum. He struck the winner against Asante Kotoko in Week 6, then added another goal in the 2-0 win over Karela United in Week 7, giving All Blacks back-to-back victories.
Speaking after the Karela United game, the winger pointed to the basics as the secret behind his form. He said hard work, dedication and discipline are what keep him sharp, adding that football is all about confidence and that belief is helping him perform.
Darkwah also had a message for the fans, urging them to keep backing the team as the club fights to stay clear of a relegation battle this term. The two wins have lifted Swedru All Blacks to seventh on the league table.
Next up, All Blacks will aim for a third straight victory when they take on Young Apostles, with Darkwah looking to keep his scoring run going.
