Former Black Galaxies winger Evans Osei-Wusu has swapped the Ghana Premier League for India, signing permanently with Rajasthan United.
Another Ghanaian talent is packing his boots for Asia. Forward Evans Osei-Wusu has joined Indian side Rajasthan United on a free transfer, adding to the growing list of African players taking their game to new footballing frontiers.
The former Black Galaxies winger arrives at the Desert Warriors after building his reputation across the Ghanaian domestic scene. He turned out for Tema Youth, FC Samartex and Karela United, earning a name as a dangerous presence in the final third.
The numbers back it up. In the Ghana Premier League, Osei-Wusu made 49 appearances, scored 15 goals and set up eight more. That is a healthy return for an attacker who has now earned his shot at a bigger test abroad.
For the player, this is a major career milestone and a chance to prove himself in an unfamiliar football environment. Quick adaptation will be the priority as he settles into life in India.
Rajasthan United, meanwhile, are hoping his pace, experience and eye for goal can sharpen their attack as they chase promotion to the top flight. If Osei-Wusu hits the ground running, the Ghanaian could become a key piece of that push.
