Ex-UFC Otis Anderson Jr. dead at 23 years old after domestic incident

Sudden news broke out as former UFC football star Otis Anderson Jr pronounced dead after being shot in Florida on a Monday night altercation.

News4JAX announced that the young 23-year-old Anderson Jr was shot after a domestic incident involving him being killed and one woman being injured and believed to be all related.

Gone too soon is the name of the case for the young football phenom. Anderson Jr played both wideouts and running back, pilling up 2,182 rushing yards, 1,025 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns.

Anderson Jr. was a stellar player for the Knights from 2017 to 2020 and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, but unfortunately, he was not picked. He later signed with the Rams in the offseason.

His death has since then made its way to the NFL community. On Tuesday, Jalen Ramsey, star of the Rams, shared his condolences via Twitter.

UPDATE:

New light has been shed on the issue, as police reports have claimed that none other than Otis Anderson Sr, his dad, had shot his son after a falling-out altercation over a dog bite. The father is now facing first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges for the death of his son.
