Cameroon legend ,Samuel Eto'o has disagree with FIFA president Ginnan Infantion for proposing that African Cup of Nation should be held in every four years instead of the two years.
Eto'o reasons that, playing the tournament every fours years will not be in the best interest of the continent. He feel that playing the African Cup every two years will help designed African's best players available for big clubs at the expense of the continent.
"Is it in the interest of Africans to organise Afcon every four years? I think it's more like Europeans", Eto'o told radio France International.

"They wanted to have Mohamed Salah,Sadio Mane, Pirerre-Emerick Aubameyang at their disposal." He also think that African football need to be at the level of European standards.
"We have to bring our football up to that of European ,Eto'o added. We asked Caf for to help in going faster in the restructuring .It takes a policy on the African continent to develop the champions. This is what will keep national teams from blackmailing."

This came as result of FIFA President Gianni Ifantino speaking in seminar at Rabat (Morocco), in early this year suggested to Confederation of African football to play the Afcon in every four years instead of two years, and want to create a Pan - African Super League with 20 teams permanent members club.
He was 2000 and 2002 African Cup of Nation winner with Cameroon ,as well as four time European Champion League winner with Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan. He was involved in the Caf Advisory body when Fifa appointed Samoura Fatma as general secretary and Caf delegate for six month.
