Floyd Mayweather is '100 per cent sure' he will NEVER fight as a professional boxer again - but is open for exhibitions with UFC stars.
'Money' retired from boxing in 2017 after taking his unblemished record to 50-0 with a win over UFC star Conor McGregor in a huge crossover bout that saw the 43-year-old rake in around $275million. Despite still being deeply involved in the sport on a daily basis, Mayweather says there is no temptation for him to come out of retirement. https://twitter.com/HOT97/status/1322566031378960384 "As of right now, I'm doing exhibitions," Mayweather told CNN en Español's Raul Saenz. "I'm 100% sure that I'm not fighting against any boxer anymore. So, that's out of the question. I mean, just my faculties mean a lot to me. Money don't make me, I make money and my health is more important than money."As far as me doing exhibitions and me fighting MMA guys, will I do that in a box ring? Absolutely."
Mayweather last November announced online that he was 'coming out of retirement' and would work with UFC boss Dana White on a comeback.
The two are still in talks, and Mayweather has been teasing a return having continued to train in his Las Vegas gym.
