Wales international Gareth Bale has no plans to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, his agent, Jonathan Barnett, has said.
The winger moved to the Santiago Bernabeu for a world-record fee in 2013, but has been out of favour in recent years.
The former Tottenham star often been left out of Zinedine Zidane’s squad, having fallen out with the French manager.
While there has been speculation that the Welshman’s future lies elsewhere, the player’s agent insists he won’t be leaving Madrid.
"Gareth is fine. He has two years left on his contract," Barnett said in an interview with BBC Sport.
"It's a great loss that he's not in the Real Madrid team at the moment but he will not leave."
Barnett added that very few clubs in the world can currently afford Bale’s Bale's £600,000-a-week wages.
According to him, the winger is looking forward to continuing his career with the Blancos and will give his best whenever he’s selected by the manager.
"He likes living in Madrid and he is going nowhere...He is still as good as anyone else in the team. It's up to [Real Madrid manager] Zinedine Zidane...Of course there's been interest but there's hardly a club in the world which can afford him,” the agent noted.
