Ghana's best regional Colts champions will battle for national honours at the new KIVO U-17 Regional Champions Cup this November.
Ghana football has a new stage for its brightest young talents. The Ghana Football Association has officially launched the maiden KIVO U-17 Regional Champions Cup, a competition built to strengthen Colts football and give emerging players a national platform to shine.
The launch took place at the GFA headquarters on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Senior Association officials, representatives of partners KIVO and JLAB, and other key figures in the Ghanaian game were in attendance.
The tournament will run from November 8 to 15, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence. The best U-17 regional Colts champions will come together and compete for national honours in a week of high-stakes youth football.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku delivered the keynote and made clear this is about more than trophies. He said the event is an opportunity for young footballers across the regions to test themselves at a higher level, represent their communities with pride and move closer to their football dreams.
The launch also underlined the GFA's growing investment in Colts football, a sign that the federation wants to build a stronger pipeline of domestic talent for the future of Ghanaian football.
