Kingsley Bimpong's rapid rise from Horsens' U19s to the senior side has earned the 19-year-old Ghanaian a long-term contract in Denmark.
Ghana's latest export is already making himself at home in Europe. Teenage forward Kingsley Bimpong has signed a long-term contract with Danish Superliga club AC Horsens, only months after arriving from his homeland.
The 19-year-old made the move in February 2026 and spent much of the first half of the year with the club's U19 side. His potential shone through quickly, and he was promoted to the senior squad. He has since made four first-team appearances, two of them starts.
Bimpong said he has loved life at Horsens so far and credited his teammates and coaches for making the settling-in process easy. He also said he shares the club's ambition of establishing itself in the Superliga and is ready to work hard to help get there.
Sporting Director Esben Hansen sees the young Ghanaian as an important part of the club's future. He praised Bimpong's development since he arrived and highlighted his proactive style, his forward-thinking play and his speed.
For a teenager who has gone from the youth ranks to a long-term senior deal in a matter of months, it is a strong start to his European adventure, and one for Ghanaian football fans to keep an eye on.
