Ghanaian winger Daniel Nunoo, 20, has signed a long-term Rapid Vienna extension, locking in his European pathway until the summer of 2030.
Ghana's Daniel Nunoo is staking a serious claim in European football. The 20-year-old winger has signed an early contract extension with Austrian giants SK Rapid Vienna, committing his future to the club until the summer of 2030.
The former Accra Shooting Stars man joined Rapid in 2024 and has kept climbing since. The club confirmed the news in an official statement, noting that the Ghanaian, mainly deployed on the right wing, has agreed to extend the partnership well ahead of schedule.
Nunoo's rise has come across several levels of the Rapid structure. Club figures show 25 appearances and three goals for Rapid Vienna II, plus five outings and one goal for the senior side. He has also turned out four times for the UEFA U19 team and once for the U18s, showing his versatility as he develops.
For Rapid, the new deal is a clear vote of confidence in a young player they see as part of their future. For Nunoo, it brings stability and a long runway to push for a bigger role in the first team, and it adds another name to the growing list of Ghanaian talents carving out a path in Europe.
