Giannis Antetokounmpo Makes a 6-figure investment in Ready Nutrition

Share

Giannis has agreed to terms with sports nutrition maker Ready Nutrition in a deal that will grant the 2018-19 NBA MVP part ownership of the company.

Ready Nutrition did not mention the exact amount that was invested, but they mentioned it was within the 6 figure range.

“This is not an endorsement deal, obviously, I can help the brand and go out there and sell it to everybody, but this is not what this is. This is a company I really believe in. I could go with Gatorade, I could go with BodyArmor, but at the end of the day Ready was the right fit for me.”

The products of Ready Nutrition, are now available in more than 8,000 retail stores across North America.

It is now common for athletes to use their platforms, connections and money to find opportunities to invest in. For instance, Steph and Bron both have their media companies, and Serena owns a venture capital firm. Giannis has stated that he is not an expert in investment, but we sure know he has people around him that can help him make wise decisions.

“I’m not an expert on investments, but I have a good team around me to help me learn about them,” says Antetokounmpo.

Multiple sources have said the NBA could resume the 2019-20 season in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World. The reigning MVP had the best record in the league before games were suspended.
