Giannis Antetokounmpo, known as the “Nigerian Freak,” delivered another strong performance, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Milwaukee Bucks from falling 115-102 to the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night at the Barclays Center in New York.
In 33 minutes on the court, the two-time MVP posted 22 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block. His effort showcased his usual dominance, but the Bucks couldn’t overcome the Nets, one of the weaker teams in the league.
After the game, Antetokounmpo admitted the Bucks need to improve. Speaking to reporters, he said:
