Tyson Fury believes Deontay Wilder has ‘lost his marbles’ as the former heavyweight champion continues his conspiracy claims.
Fury took the Bronze Bomber's WBC belt in February after a dominant display in Las Vergas but Wilder has since offered a nearly endless list of excuses for his poor performance. He initially said his extravagant ring-walk costume was too heavy and blamed his trainer Mark Breland for throwing the towel in to confirm Fury's seventh-round stoppage. “Now someone has spiked his water… It’s one of those things, isn’t it.”Reports suggest that negotiations between the pair had been called off last month after the rematch clause expired. Fury said he had 'moved on' after becoming frustrated by Wilder changing the dates initially agreed.
He is now set for a warm-up fight - possibly against Agit Kabayel - and then hopes to take on Anthony Joshua in an epic undisputed bout in 2021.
