John Wall eager to return playing for the Rockets as soon as possible

Today, the Houston Rockets organization sits on John Wall's $92 million contract for the next two seasons. As they shift to a youth-driven and post-Harden era, it becomes clear that Rockets are geared toward developing its young core with Jalen Green, Alperen Snegun, Usman Garuba and Josh Christopher.

This leaves the five-time All-Star in a strange situation, as the Rockets have wanted Wall to accept a complementary role for its young core. This doesn't didn't sit well with him and he has shown an unwillingness to comply.

Given his hefty contract, the huge dilemma in waiting for a team to 'potentially' reach out for Wall's services seems a bit high in the odds. Now, Houston's general manager, Rafael Stone, hopes to work things out for Wall to return active in the team's roster.

There's still a lot left in the tank for Wall, a certified walking bucket that could be a key piece in hopes to revive the Rocket's 2-16 record this season. As per Wall's meeting with the rockets, several points arose in his potential to return and views on how he could approach his contract in the future.
