Ghanaian international striker Jordan Ayew (32 years old) moved from Crystal Palace to join Leicester City, who returned to the English Premier League, for two seasons.

The 32-year-old striker, who was born and trained in Marseille, where he began his professional career, joined the Eagles in the summer of 2018, initially on loan from Swansea City before joining the club permanently.

With the south London team, Jordan Ayew, the son of star Abedi Pele and brother of Andre and Ibrahim Ayew, participated in 212 matches in all competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists in six seasons.

"As a player, when you hear that the coach wants you, it makes you want to come and work with him to try to improve," the striker said, according to his new club, of his move to the 2015-16 league champions.

"I am here to work hard and help the team achieve its goals," he continued.

The Ghana international striker (104 appearances, 28 goals) will join up with his team for their away game against Fulham on Saturday.

After being relegated to the Championship in 2023, Leicester City returned to the elite this season after winning the Championship title last year.
