Juventus lose more points in their visit to Venezia

Share
Juventus suffered yet another disappointing result this season. The Old Lady took one more wrong step as the top 4 slowly, but surely slips away. They didn't manage to keep a clean sheet in their visit to Venezia. The game ended in a draw, 1:1, as both teams had a chance to win the game. Juventus were more focused in the first half as they opened the score through Alvaro Morata in 32th minute. There were no other significant events for the first 45 minutes as both teams entered the dressing rooms. The second half began with Venezia taking the upper hand. In 55th minute, Mattia Aramu was best positioned on the edge of the penalty area. His well-driven shot towards the left corner flew into the net, thus making it 1:1. Juventus tried to do everything they can in order to grab the victory, but with no success. Venezia also tried to surprised their opponents in the final minutes of the game, but their attempts were denied as well. Juventus is now 6th in Serie A with 28 points from 17 matches. Atalanta remains 4th with 34 points from 16 games, while Milan is on top of the table with 39 points. Inter and Napoli have a chance to move the Rossoneri away from the 1st place, if they manage to win their games today. This year will definitely be really hard for Massimiliano Allegri's team. Juventus have two games against Bologna and Cagliari before going on a pretty tough journey facing the best teams in Italy. They finished 1st in their UCL Group Stage which will give them a better chance at drawing an easier opponent for the Round of 16.
