Kevin-Prince Boateng explains why he’ll probably never stop saying ‘stupid things’

Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng says he is unlikely to stop saying stupid things or acting crazy.

The Fiorentina player is known for his controversial actions, having never shied away from speaking his mind.

Boateng was banned from playing for the Ghana national team after an altercation with then coach Kwasi Appiah.

He also became famous for walking off the pitch after being subjected to racist abuse during his time at AC Milan.

The 30-year-old recently called out FIFA for its soft stance on matters relating to racism, insisting the football body simply “does not care”.

While Boateng has often come under the spotlight for his utterances and actions, the player insists he won’t change.

“I am not perfect! I say stupid things. I laugh when I am not supposed to. I have scars left by people who did me wrong,” he wrote on Twitter.

“I am crazy, and probably I won’t change. Love me or not. But I make one promise, if I am here I am here 4ever.”

Boateng recently ended his loan spell with Besiktas, but it’s unknown if he’ll stay with parent club Fiorentina or move to another club.
