Ghana's Kingsley Bimpong has committed to AC Horsens through 2030 after a rapid rise from the U19s to the senior team in Denmark.
Another Ghanaian talent is putting down roots in Europe. Attacker Kingsley Bimpong has signed a contract extension with Danish side AC Horsens, tying his future to the club until the summer of 2030 after a fast and impressive start to life in Scandinavia.
Bimpong arrived at the beginning of the year and wasted little time making an impression. He moved from the club's U19 setup into the senior squad on the back of his performances and quick development. So far he has made four first-team appearances under coach Niki Zimling, including starts in Horsens' last two matches, a clear sign of the growing faith in his game.
Sporting director Esben Hansen was glowing about the youngster's progress at Langmarksvej. He described Bimpong as proactive in his play, forward-thinking and quick, and said the Ghanaian adapts rapidly to a higher level and learns fast. Hansen also stressed that the club sees considerable potential still to be unlocked and is eager to keep developing it.
For Ghana, the deal adds to a growing story of young players finding pathways through European academies and into senior football. A long-term commitment so early in his Horsens journey suggests both player and club believe the best is still ahead.
