Kingsley Coman faces £43,000 fine for driving Mercedes instead of Audi to Bayern training

Share
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is facing a £43,000 fine for driving to training in a Mercedes - rather than an Audi.
The German outfit are currently sponsored by Audi and it means they're provided with cars for training, matches and sponsorship events.
BILD have reported Coman is in breach of those rules after being denied entry into the training ground by club staff.

Audi own 8.33 per cent of Bayern and it is believed their partnership is worth around £42.8million per year.
It means only their manufactured cars are contractually allowed to be used by players when arriving at training.
The 24-year-old has been guilty of breaking these rules in the past, arriving at the club's Sabener Strasse training ground in his McLaren supercar last year. He defended his actions in a statement to BILD and explained it was due to a damaged wing mirror on his club-provided car.
At the time he stated: "I would like to apologise to the club and Audi for not having come to training in my company car.
"The reason was a damaged wing mirror on my Audi. Still, that was a mistake, of course I can see that.
"As a reparation, I will visit the Audi plant in Ingolstadt for an autograph hour as soon as possible and bring some attention to the employees."
Coman has featured in 20 Bundesliga games this season, managing to score three goals and provide 10 assists.
The Frenchman has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea this summer but is likely to sign a contract extension with the Bavarian giants.
