Ghana's Mohammed Kudus set up the opener and terrorised the right flank as Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 2-0 and won their third straight league game.
Mohammed Kudus is turning up for Tottenham, and the Black Stars star was named Player of the Match in Spurs' 2-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Ghanaian was the most dangerous player on the pitch, and he started the scoring with a pinpoint corner.
That delivery found Archie Gray inside the box for the opening goal. From there Kudus kept pulling the Palace defence apart down the right. His pace and dribbling gave the visitors problems all afternoon. He completed five dribbles, won four fouls and created three chances.
Palace made Tottenham's job easier when Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off early, leaving them with 10 men. Spurs controlled the game from there, and Kudus used the extra space to make his mark as they collected a third consecutive victory.
The performance is another sign that Kudus is finding his rhythm after fitness concerns earlier in the campaign. His confidence has grown in recent weeks, and this display strengthens his claim to a regular starting place under head coach Roberto De Zerbi, even with competition for attacking spots expected to rise.
The next target for the Ghana international is to keep this form going and add goals to his growing list of contributions, as Tottenham push up the Premier League table.
