Ghana's Daniel-Kofi Kyereh scored and set up another as VfL Osnabrück cruised past Greuther Fürth in 2. Bundesliga action.
Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh was the star of the show on Sunday, bagging a goal and an assist as VfL Osnabrück dismantled Greuther Fürth 3-0 in the German 2. Bundesliga.
The creative midfielder started at Stadion an der Bremer Brücke, where the hosts were hunting a win in front of their own fans. Kyereh broke the deadlock in the 37th minute, finishing neatly after a pass from Robin Meissner.
Two minutes later, the Ghanaian repaid the favour. Kyereh set up Meissner to make it 2-0, handing Osnabrück a commanding cushion going into the interval.
After the break, the home side focused on protecting their advantage. Kyereh was substituted in the 67th minute, and replacement Ismail Badjie came on to score the third and seal the result.
The performance lifts Kyereh's season tally to two goals and one assist in seven appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, a return that shows his growing influence on Osnabrück's attack.
