Ghanaian international, Majeed Waris has been named player of the month for his team Strasbourg in the France Lige 1.
The player impressive performance at Strasbourg , received 29% of the votes to beat teammates Adrien Thomason and Mat Selz.
The 28-year-old scored his second goal in the 2-1 win over stade Reims.In January 2018 Waris was loaned to Portuguese league side FC Potor on a six-month loan deal which involves a €6 million option to make the move permanent .
On 16 January 2020, Waris returned to France, signing for Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season with obligation to buy in the summer for £2,000,000.
