German-Ghanaian midfielder Roberto Massimo bagged a goal and an assist as Wehen Wiesbaden cruised past TSV Havelse in the 3. Liga.
German-Ghanaian midfielder Roberto Massimo was the star of the show in the 3. Liga, netting a goal and setting up another as SV Wehen Wiesbaden eased to a 3-0 win over TSV Havelse.
The hosts struck first in the 10th minute, when Justin Janitzek unleashed a long-range effort that beat Havelse goalkeeper Tom Opitz. Wiesbaden barely paused for breath after the interval, and Massimo made it two in the 47th minute, pouncing amid a scramble in the box after the visitors failed to clear their lines several times.
Massimo then switched from finisher to creator in the 81st minute. He surged forward with the ball and teed up substitute Tarik Gozusirin, who stayed cool and slotted home to put the result beyond doubt. Massimo was taken off in the 85th minute after another influential outing.
The win keeps Wiesbaden's momentum rolling under coach Jochen Seitz, with the club collecting five wins from six matches since his arrival. For Massimo, the contribution lifts his season haul to four goals and four assists in 11 appearances, a strong return for a player who is becoming a key figure in the side.
